FFC B05 Cordoba Finalist @ ManU Summer Cup

Freedom FC B05 had another successful tournament run at the FC Man United Summer Cup.  Coming off their summer break, the team had to work hard this weekend to reach the finals.  After trailing host, FC Man United, 2-1 at halftime.  FFC B05 pulled off the win with two amazing goals from Andrew Partida in the last 10 minutes of the game.  Second game didn't end so well as the team lost 3-2 to tournament champs, LA Salsa.  In the semi-final, Freedom faced a tough United Premier FC.  Both teams battled back and forth to a 1-1 tie, but Freedom moved on to the championship by winning in PKs.  FFC B05 goalie, Jonathan Arevalo, came up strong by saving a penalty and pressuring a United player to hit the post.  The final showdown was a rematch against LA Salsa, but Freedom's luck ended in a 3-1 lose.  The boys played with a lot of heart but wound up short by missing two great opportunities in front of the opponent's goal in the last 10 minutes of the game.  FFC B05 have their goal set on winning CSL Silver East this Fall.
